Brewster McCloud (1970)
First off, you cannot actually add this to your Netflix Queue. You can only find this movie on VHS or Betamax off Ebay or through one of the many online movie traders on the black market. You could just wait until Altman's family releases it on DVD. I think they will do so eventually. It was one of Bob's favorites(he was a buddy of mine)...
The story is of a young man name Brewster. He is an owlish, intellectual boy who lives in a fallout shelter of the Houston Astrodome. He has a dream: to take flight within the confines of the stadium. Brewster tells those he trusts of his dream, but displays a unique way of treating others who do not fit within his plans. When the fateful day arrives, and he enters the dome with his fanciful construction of bird wings, Brewster is surrounded by the police. Will he be caught before he attempts to fly? You have to watch to see!!!!! Now go ADD IT TO YO QUEUE FOOL!
